As a Lubbock native, I've noticed that in spite of our plentiful performance spaces, we have a tendency to mainly attract Christian and Country artists. I sought out to conceptualize and design a music festival which would take place in Lubbock, drawing new talent and tourists to the city all while paying homage to local rock-and-roll legends such as Buddy Holly.
